About Me
Hi there, I'm Isaac, welcome to my blog!
I occasionally post things about side projects, concepts and sometimes even guides here and there. I mostly post things I need to get "on paper", or just projects I had fun working on that I want to share with the world. Any code snippets hosted here are free to use as long as appropriate credits are given (unless otherwise noted).
A little about me:
I received my Bachelors of Software Engineering from Huddersfield University with a First Class Honours degree, finishing my final two years with a 4.0 GPA. I currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Latent AI.
Outside of work I build various side projects as time permits and most of them can be found on my GitHub, or even on my Projects page (which might still be in progress when you get to it). I typically have a large backlog of things I want to build, so if anyone is ever interested in teaming up on something, you know where to find me.
Most of my experience is around dealing with Big Data and Analytics, so working with a myriad of languages (Java, JavaScript, Elixir, Rust) and technologies ranging from things like MongoDB and Redis to Elasticsearch and Hadoop. That being said, my recent positions have shifted me more into the world of Machine Learning so I'm becoming more and more familiar with Python and the major libraries of those ecosystems.
Anyway, that's enough of an introduction for now! Hopefully you enjoy reading my content, and I hope to see you someday at a conference (or maybe even in a future workplace)! Feel free to reach out to me on any of the links in the navigation bar at the top if you want to contact me at any point!
