About Me
Hi there, I'm Isaac, welcome to my blog!
I occasionally post things about side projects, concepts and sometimes even guides here and there. I mostly post things I need to get "on paper", or just projects I had fun working on that I want to share with the world. Any code snippets hosted here are free to use as long as appropriate credits are given (unless otherwise noted).
A little about me:
I received my Bachelors of Software Engineering from Huddersfield University with a First Class Honours degree, finishing my final two years with a 4.0 GPA. I currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Axway, Inc. following the acquisition of Appcelerator, Inc. back in January of 2016.
I spend most of my time in the realm of big data and analytics, so a fair amount of my experience is server side using a myriad of languages and technologies ranging from the typical Node.js/MongoDB to Java/Elasticsearch. Most recently my interests have been focused in the fantastic land of Elixir and Erlang, with a keen interest into where Rust is going.
Outside of work I build various side projects as time permits and most of them can be found on my GitHub, or even on my Projects page (which might still be in progress when you get to it). I typically have a large backlog of things I want to build, so if anyone is ever interested in teaming up on something, you know where to find me.
Anyway, that's enough of an introduction for now! Hopefully you enjoy reading my content, and I hope to see you someday at a conference (or maybe even in a future workplace)! Feel free to reach out to me on any of the links in the navigation bar at the top if you want to contact me at any point!
